The IFNA Education & Research Foundation was established to support education and research initiatives of international relevance that advance the practice of nurse anesthesia worldwide.
Founded in Switzerland, the Foundation is funded through grants, donations, and a portion of the proceeds from each IFNA World Congress. These funds support projects focused on basic and continuing education, professional workshops, and research related to nurse anesthesia with global impact.
All proposals for education, workshops, or research must be submitted to the Foundation Scientific Committee by March 1 of each year for consideration.
The Foundation also offers a Student and Faculty Exchange Program, providing opportunities for students and faculty to participate in exchanges between two non-physician anesthesia education programs from two IFNA country members. Application deadlines: March 1 and September 1 of each year.
